Owatonna Softball, Baseball Get Rematches with Northfield Tuesday
The Huskies softball and baseball teams each lost in a tough way to the Raiders back on April 12. They get their chance at redemption Tuesday.
Owatonna softball committed seven errors while dropping a 14-12 decision at Morehouse Park in mid-April. Tuesday the teams meet in Northfield at 5PM. OHS (6-4) has won three straight and five of their past six. Northfield is 6-4 overall. Thursday the Huskies host Faribault in a 7PM varsity game with coverage on Power 96 Radio.
The Huskies baseball team lost a 3-2 game at Northfield in nine innings on April 12. Owatonna (6-2) is on a five-game winning streak. The Raiders are 6-3. Game time Tuesday is 5PM at Dartt's Park in Owatonna. Thursday the Huskies go to Faribault's Bell Field for a 5PM game on KRFO AM 1390.
OHS track competes Tuesday. The boys host Northfield and Winona at 4:30PM at Owatonna High School. The girls go to Winona with a 4:30PM start. OHS boys tennis hosts top 10-ranked Rochester Century on Tuesday at 4:30PM.
In KRFO-area baseball Tuesday, Blooming Prairie plays a make-up game at Triton and NRHEG plays at Zumbrota-Mazeppa. Softball action includes Pine Island at Blooming Prairie, NRHEG at Glenville-Emmons and Triton at Lyle-Pacelli.
Blooming Prairie hosts a true team track meet Tuesday and the Awesome Blossoms boys golf team hosts a Gopher Conference meet.
