Owatonna senior Sydney Schultz paced the Huskies to a 54-43 win at Rochester John Marshall with 25 points, which moves her to the edge of school history. Schultz reportedly has 1,488 points in her career, two shy of the school record of 1,490 held by Sarah Draayer. Schultz should move to the top of the all-time list early in Thursday's home game against Rochester Mayo.

The Huskies trailed 23-21 at the half Tuesday, but outscored the Rockets 33-20 in the second half of the key conference and section game. Schultz grabbed 16 rebounds to complete the double-double. Bria Wachowiak scored 11 points and had eight rebounds. Jenna Zeman added eight points. Ahnna Stelter hauled in nine rebounds. OHS out rebounded JM 41-31 and forced 19 turnovers.

In the boys game at Owatonna, John Marshall topped the Huskies 82-65. Future Division I player Matthew Hurt amassed 46 points. OHS was led by Dalton Kubista's 22 points. Alex Raichle scored 21. OHS goes to Mayo Thursday.
