
Owatonna Girls Basketball Wins Home Opener Saturday
The Owatonna girls basketball team played the first game on the new floor at the OHS gym and scored a 74-46 win over Mankato East.
The victory is the first for first-year OHS head coach Lindsey Hugstad-Vaa. The game was the Big Nine opener. The Huskies (1-1) go to Mankato West on Tuesday at 7:30PM and play at Albert Lea on Friday at 7:30PM. Hugstad-Vaa was the head coach for the Tigers before joining the Owatonna staff last season. Both games will be on Kat Kountry 105FM.
