The Twins are bringing their youth baseball and softball clinic to Owatonna June 27 for boys and girls ages 6-16. It starts at 9AM at the Manthey Park Diamonds.

Members of the Minnesota Twins organization will lead the clinic and teach the basics of throwing, hitting and catching. Each participant will get a free Play Ball Minnesota gift and T-shirt. There will be drawings for special prizes and a free picnic lunch for the participants and their parents.

Boys and girls ages 6-9 will have their clinic from 9-10:30Am. Those ages 10-16 will be from 10:30AM to noon. Both clinics are schedule for the Manthey Park diamonds in Owatonna on Saturday, June 27. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the Four Seasons Centre.

Owatonna's Youth First program is helping to sponsor this event and will hold their free photo booth, too.

A clinic also will be held in Kasson on Friday, July 17, at the elementary baseball field. Clinic times are 2PM for the younger group and 3:30PM for the older children.

This year marks the 55th year the Twins organization has held these free clinics. They are free to all participants.
