Concrete pavement repair on I-35 is scheduled to begin today, Wednesday, September 25. The affect area will be between Faribault and Elko/New Market. Traffic delays can be expected as the repairs require the closing of one lane of traffic in both directions. Work should be completed by early November.

There is also a change on Rose Street starting today(September 25). The work on the westbound lane is now complete and work will begin on the eastbound lane. Rose Street from Hoffman Drive to Willow Avenue will be closed to eastbound traffic starting Wednesday. Eastbound traffic will be detoured using Hoffman Drive, Oak Avenue, Vine Street and Willow Avenue. Side streets crossing Rose will be closed at Rose Street with southbound traffic permitted to take right turns only.  Grove Avenue and Cedar Avenue will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic. This project should last another month or so.
