Husky Havoc is Saturday
A slam-dunking, three-point shooting fun time is expected Saturday, December 2 as the Owatonna basketball program hosts "Husky Havoc" at the high school gym. The evening will include elementary scrimmages, skills competitions and an introduction of the 2017-18 varsity boys basketball team.
CashWise Donates to Youth 1st
Last month's Pigskin and Pork fundraiser was a good one for Cash Wise Foods of Owatonna and the Youth 1st program. Cash Wise made a check presentation in support of the team awards program through Youth 1st of $2,525.
Honored for Sportsmanship
Owatonna and Faribault youth baseball and softball teams were among those that got the opportunity to parade around Target Field before a Twins game early this month.

Youth sports is about so many things over and above wins and losses. Several Owatonna youth baseball teams were recognized during last week's Steele County Fair for their good sportsmanship during the summer season.
MN Twins Honor Local Teams
Nearly 50 youth baseball and softball teams were hosted by the Twins during a recent home stand. They were honored for being "Real Winning" teams through Youth 1st of Owatonna.
Play Ball Clinic in Owatonna
The Twins are bringing their youth baseball and softball clinic to Owatonna June 27 for boys and girls ages 6-16. It starts at 9AM at the Manthey Park Diamonds.
Saints Game Draws a Crowd
A crowd of more than 1,000 spectators surrounded Chuck Fuller Field on Saturday for the exhibition game that raised money for youth ballpark improvements in Owatonna.
