Something for Dog and Cat Lovers in Southern Minnesota

The Steele County Humane Society has a number of events such as promotions, fund raisers and pet adoption days throughout the year. It takes manpower to put these on. The Society is putting on their annual Volunteer Expo on Saturday, May 4 at Sparetime Entertainment in Owatonna. Stop in between 10-1pm and learn how you can help.

You can offer to help at one or as many of the events as you want. Members of the society will be on hand to answer questions and they're also open to ideas for fund raisers. Individuals will be on hand to talk to you about fostering animals while they await adoption too.

Sparetime will donate a $1 for every hamburger/cheeseburger basket to the Steele County Humane Society during the event on May 4.
