Owatonna Summer Baseball

A successful playoff run by the Owatonna High School baseball team segues into a busy summer of baseball at Dartts Park. A double-header is featured Thursday, June 4.

Owatonna and Faribault play a VFW / Legion twin bill on Thursday beginning at 5PM. VFW Post 3723 is coming off a 19-9 victory over Waseca on Wednesday. Legion Post 77 will play its first game of the season after the high school team finished as the Section 1AAA runner up on Tuesday.

The VFW plays at the Burnsville tournament this Friday through Sunday. But the Owatonna VFW 10 team will host Winona on Saturday, June 6, in a double-header at Dartts Park.

Owatonna's Legion team is scheduled to host Northfield on Tuesday, June 9. That could change since Northfield plays in the high school state tournament starting Thursday, June 11.

The Aces play at Zumbrota on Saturday, June 6, at 2PM and at Plainview on Sunday, June 7, at 2PM. Their next home game is Wednesday, June 10, against the Pine Island Pioneers at 7:30PM.
