The KRFO Radio Pup of the Week is Chance. She's an English shepherd/terrier mix and is just over 1 year old. Chance has been in a foster home since mid-January. She knows the commands sit, down and come. Chance is a little slow to warm up to other pets. Her hobbies include playing with the laser light and playing ping pong (she uses her tongue for a paddle, look at her).

Chance has been vet-checked, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.

The folks at Care.com Think Tank have come out with a report on which state has the healthiest pets. Montana ranks No. 1, followed by Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico and Idaho. The categories used for ranking include illness, which gives Montana the No. 1 ranking; Minnesota is ranked eighth. Access to Vet was another category that found Nebraska come in first, with Minnesota 20th. Another category was Spending on Pets with New Hampshire first and Minnesota checking in at 11th.
