The KRFO Radio Pup of the Week is Buddy. Buddy is a dachshund as you can see, and is about 10 years old. He'd be best off in a home where someone is usually around because he isn't too fond of being left alone. Buddy enjoys car rides and plain and simple human companionship. He's been in foster care about a month. Dachshunds were originally bred to dig out and chase away badgers. If you don't believe me, wave a red shirt with a W on it; he'll get upset. Buddy has an adoption fee of $200.

Check out the other cats and dogs looking for good homes by going to the Steele County Humane Society website.

The Humane Society reminds you to keep the date of April 22 open. That's the date for the Owatonna Bark and Rec. The Humane Societies 5K Walk/Run Fur Fun. Online registration ends April 20.

Download the KRFO RadioPup app and follow the Huskies in post-season action on your mobile device wherever you go.
