Allina Health is teaming up again with Free Bikes 4 Kidz to collected new or gently used bikes to donate to needy kids in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. Last year over 7,000 bikes were dispersed.

There will be volunteers at most Allina Health locations on Saturday, October 6 to collect your bike or bikes. Drop yours off at the Owatonna Hospital of District One Hospital in Faribault between 9-1PM. The first 50 donors at each site receive a free FB4K shirt.

The bikes will then be handed out to low income children in early December and again in the spring. Each child will also get a free bike helmet.

Volunteers are needed to help clean and prepare the bikes for distribution. Go to the FB4K.org web site to volunteer or learn more.
