This week's edition of the Faribault Police Department's weekly newsletter known as The Point After featured two men wanted on separate warrants. If you know where either man is, you should contact the Faribault Police Department.

Faribault Police are still searching for 22-year-old Jesus Alvarado Reyes and 39-year-old Cecil Porter. Alvarado Reyes is wanted for failing to appear on a warrant for Criminal Sexual Conduct. He is 5’8” tall, weighs 134 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair.

Also being sought by Faribault Police is 39-year-old Cecil Porter. He is the subject of a pair of warrants for 5th degree Controlled Substances, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Receiving Stolen Property, and Probation Violation. He is 5’7” tall, weighs 160 pounds, has brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about Alvarado Reyes or Porter is asked to call us at 507-334-4305.

Also highlighted in this week's The Point After animal complaints we're up three times the number reported in January. January saw 18 animal complaints compared to the 44 reported in February. Other areas of service calls either were down or flat compared to January.

Finally, you may have noticed officers out in the community sporting different badges, ones that look like what you'd see in a movie from the 1880s. Those different badges are in honor of Faribault turning 150 years old this year. The badges also have some hidden initials on the back that are in honor of those fallen officers throughout the history of Faribault being a city. You can learn more about those badges below.
