Bulls start the week trying to shake their riders, ATV riders will attempt to defy gravity and Hairball fans are hoping the rain stays away this week. Grandstand entertainment at the Steele County Fair begins Tuesday with Great Frontier Bull Riding at 7:30PM. Mutton bustin' and calf dressing are part of the lineup.

Wednesday's show is a new attraction for the fair. Earlier this year the fair officials ran a Facebook poll to select an event to feature in front of the grandstand. Fair secretary Jim Gleason says the ATV Big Air Show was the runaway winner. Performances occur at 2PM and 7:30PM. Prices are reduced for the early show. The fair website includes this explanation, "The ATV Big Air Tour is a freestyle motocross / extreme sports thrill show that features freestyle ATV's flying three-stories high, motorcycle back flips, and the mega jump BMX team in an action-packed night for the whole family."

Last year's Hairball performance was rained out. Thursday's forecast looks more promising this year for their 7:30PM show. The Mallrats will open the night.

An NTPA tractor pull roars through the night sky Friday at 7:30PM. Saturday starts with an antique tractor pull at 8:30AM. The annual enduro auto race begins at 6PM Saturday. Sunday's demo derby starts at 3:30PM.
