River Bend Annual Meeting

River Bend Nature Center of Faribault will have their annual meeting on Thursday, July 25 from 6-7:15pm. The meeting will be at River Bend. The 2018 annual report will be given and members will elect candidates to the Board of Directors. There will be a vote on bylaw changes and a discussion on the current state of River Bend Nature Center.

A couple items of note include the Homeschool Science Day this Friday. Youngsters ages 3-7 are invited to learn about animal migration starting at 9:30am. A class on voyageurs and the fur trade will be offered to 8-14 year olds at 9:30am as well. At noon, 6-14 year olds are invited to the canoeing and yard games session. Youth will spend the afternoon canoeing on the Cannon and playing yard games.
