Rice County Fair: What to Know Before You Go

As crazy as it is, the Rice County Fair is already next week! Wooo!

Here's what you need to know before you head out to the fairgrounds:

WHEN

Tuesday, July 17th - Sunday, July 22nd

HOURS

Barns open at 8am Wednesday - Sunday.

Indoor Commerical Building and Food Concession:

• Tuesday: 5-10pm
• Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 11am-10pm
• Thursday: 10am-10pm
• Sunday: 11am-6pm (Food Concession open until 9:15pm)

Carnival Rides (closing hours vary):

• Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday: 1pm
• Friday and Saturday: 12pm

$5/day, $20 for the whole week

BEER GARDEN AND GRANDSTAND CHANGE!

No cover charge! Live bands will be playing 8pm-midnight at the Beer Garden!

The change for this year is you will purchase any beverage in the Beer Garden AND the Grandstand with tickets. You can purchase tickets in the Beer Garden.

AMUSEMENT PARK RIDES

Get unlimited rides all week long for $45/person! You have to buy these in advance though and can purchase them at Faribault Fareway, Faribault Hy-Vee, and the Rice Country Fair Board office.

At the fair: armbands are $25/person, except on Friday before 4pm armbands are $20
