The Southern Research and Outreach Center of Waseca will host their annual Horticulture Day on Saturday, March 2. You need to pre-register by Monday, February 18.

The programs begin at 9am and this year include garden column writer, Diane Dunham who will speak on prepping your garden in the spring and fall. There will also be a program on growing heirloom pumpkins, squash and gourds. Mike Heger, author of Growing Perennials in Cold Climates will offer up a presentation as well.

The registration fee is $30 and includes refreshments, lunch and handout material. Send your check(payable to the University of Minnesota) along with your name and address to UM Southern Research and Outreach Center, 35838 120th Street, Waseca, MN 56093.
