The Owatonna boys lost in the regular season finale 67-41 at home. The OHS girls lost at the newly updated Ove Bervan Gym at Austin High School 64-49.

Austin led the OHS boys 31-20 at the half. Eli Havelka scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Huskies and earned the Kottke Jewelers diamond player of the game award. The Huskies end the season at 14-12 overall and 11-11 in the Big Nine. Playoffs begin Wednesday. The Section 1AAAA pairings will be announced Saturday.

The OHS girls have two games remaining next week. Owatonna's players will sign autographs Saturday morning at the Owatonna Junior High during park and rec basketball time.
