Gandy Company of Owatonna announced recently their achievement of ISO 9001:2015 certification. Gandy, a manufacturer of agricultural and professional turf maintenance equipment, was founded in 1936 in Owatonna and remains a family-owned business.

Don Reynolds, company president, said in a news release, "We saw value in the new standard providing strategic alignment of our company goals to key processes, increased focus on continuous improvement, reducing risk and certifying to a standard that is recognized globally."

Gandy Company designs and manufactures turf maintenance equipment and provides custom metal fabrication, machining, painting and assembling for equipment manufacturers in a wide variety of markets. The website indicates Gandy will handle jobs from a single component to complete finished assembly.

ISO 9001:2015 certification verifies the standard of a quality management system, according to the ASQ-Global Voice of Quality website.

Reynolds adds, "We are strengthening Gandy Company to continuously improve customer satisfaction, grow the business and provide increasing value to our customers, employees and shareholders."
