The Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism announces it will hold a signing day May 1 to recognize Owatonna High School students who are entering the workforce or technical training. The SteeleCoWorks program is a partnership between the chamber, the high school, the Steele County United Way and Workforce Development. The ceremony will be at the OHS Small Group Forum on Wednesday, May 1.

In their weekly "Tuesday Talk" e-newsletter, the chamber announced that Made in Owatonna Day will give students from OHS the opportunity to find out about local careers in law enforcement, courts and law, and teaching. The chamber works with Bosch Community Fund on this initiative.

The chamber will hold its next Business After Hours at the new location of Spherion Staffing Solutions at 134 E Vine Street in Owatonna on Tuesday, March 26 beginning at 5:30 pm. There is no cost to attend and chamber members are invited to bring an item to be given away as a door prize.
