The Owatonna Art Center will open an exhibition featuring three artists starting Tuesday, September 6. Holly DeGrote-Thiner will have her paintings on display. Ernest Gillman has submitted drawings, and there will be a number of quilts made by Pat Cox on display. Their items will remain on display through September 25.

Music comes to the Art Center on Saturday, September 10, when the Bad Tangerines perform in concert. Tickets for the 7PM concert will be $15 for OAC members and $20 for non-members. Advance tickets will be on sale by September 1 at Kottke's, Insty Prints and the Art Center.

The public is invited to the grand opening of the new addition at the Art Center on Sunday, September 11, from 1-5PM. It'll be your opportunity to check out the new elevator and handicap accessible door in the back.

There will be a special talk at the Art Center on Thursday, September 15, at 7PM featuring Ann Riggott. She will tell her story of growing up with autism and give a slideshow of her artwork. This will be free and open to the public.
