Owatonna And Faribault Boys Basketball Bounced Out Of Playoffs

Boys basketball playoff action began Wednesday night in section 1AAAA and 1AAA. Owatonna lost at Lakeville North 57-30. Faribault dropped a 59-44 decision at home to Winona.

Owatonna was held to eight first-half points in falling at Lakeville North 57-30. The Huskies end their season with a mark of 13-14. Seniors on the Owatonna roster include Daniel Boubin, Cole Butler, Layne Frank, Matt Kingland and Dexter Leer.

Faribault lost at home to No. 5 seed Winona 59-44. The Winhawks swept the Falcons in three head-to-head match-ups this season. Faribault ended their season at 11-16. Seniors for the Falcons include Danny Ehlers, Kallan Hart, Devin Jandro and Cole Miller.
