Sunday, May 7, two new exhibitions will open at the Owatonna Arts Center. There will be an opening reception on that date from 1-5PM. At 2PM, Coda, the keyboard and sax duo of Malcolm and Scott, will perform music from the '30s and '40s along with show tunes.

The 65th annual Steele County Art Exhibition will be on display through May 28. This year's exhibit will feature the work of 25 Steele County artists. The exhibit will include oil, watercolors, acrylic, pencil and sculpture.

Also opening Sunday will be fashion designs from Spencer Versteeg. This exhibit will be made up of fabric swatches, sketches, patterns and gowns. Versteeg has studied textiles, pattern development, draping and design theory at the University of Minnesota. He has recently accepted an internship at Target headquarters for the summer of 2018.

Gallery hours are 1-5PM Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Monday.
