Minnesota Ranks High in New Air Quality Ranking
The American Lung Association released its new Air Quality Report on Wednesday. Minnesota did mighty fine. Every county in Minnesota was in full compliance with federal air quality standards.
Breaking it down, one county improved its grade in the last year and that was Olmstad going from a C to a B in this years report. All the other counties remained the same. The only county to not earn either an A or a B was Ramsay which remained at a grade of C.
Comparing Minnesota cities with cities in other states the city of Duluth ranked 7th best in the country when it came to particle pollution. Lake County Minnesota ranked 7th best as far as counties. Minnesota had 11 counties rank in the top echelon in regards to ozone pollution in the country.
