Five Bugs Lisa Likes

Bees are not so bad. However, if you are allergic they are really bad. Some people do not like bees of any sort. I usually just talk nicely to them. I was accidentally stung once when I was a kid.

I rubbed my jaw against my shoulder because of an itch but then it started to hurt. It turned out that I rubbed up against a bee. Oops.

It is not easy to take a picture of a butterfly. They should be called flutterflies. They sure are pretty. I am seeing many more now than a couple of years ago, which is a good thing.

I don't know much about dragonflies but I have noticed quite a few lately. I have seen a variety of colors and sizes. I did see a little blue one, that was cool.

This dragonfly was hanging on a rope at last year's Dodge County Fair. I didn't know how I was going to use it but I thought it was cool. Zoom is a good thing on a camera.

I guess ladybugs are a pest. I remember when it was cool to see one because they seemed rare. This one is from my garden. I have had it a while. I think it is a ladybug. That is what I'm going with.

I also found out it seems that ladybugs are considered good luck.

I found a firefly, lightning bug, during the day hanging out near the ladybug. I thought it would be easier than trying to take a picture at night when you just don't know when they are going to light up. It was very patient. Man sometimes it takes a lot of pictures to get just one.
