Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota is sponsoring an advocacy training and town hall meeting focused on immigration this Saturday, September 22. the event begins with an advocacy training at 10AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Owatonna. After a break for lunch there will be a town hall meeting from 1-3PM. Candidates for Minnesota's two U.S. Senate seats and U.S. House of Representatives district 1 seat have been invited to take part.

Folks of all faiths are welcome to this free event. Those who wish to enjoy lunch the charge will be $10. Those planning to attend need to pre-register by Tuesday, September 18. Go to the Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota to register and to learn more.
