You can help fight vandalism and maybe pick up $50 in the process. The City of Owatonna has established a fund for the Project Reward and Quick $50 programs through private donations. Each year, vandalism and graffiti to public property costs Owatonna residents several thousand dollars. Where you come in, is contact the Owatonna Police Department and report information on acts of vandalism and mention Quick $50. If you provide legitimate and substantiated information about whomever is responsible for vandalism, graffiti or or other crimes. you'll get $50. The Project Reward program may provide rewards up to $500 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for damage to public property.
