The Steele County Historical Society announces a fund raising event featuring Garrison Keillor on Thursday, March 28. Keillor will be performing at the Steele County History Center starting at 7:30pm. Keillor is best known as the creator of the Minnesota Public Radio show A Prairie Home Companion featuring the fictional Minnesota town of Lake Wobegon.

Tickets for his performance are $35 for members and $40 for non members. As a special attraction there will be a Meet and Greet with Keillor along with appetizers and beverages and preferred seating for the performance. The special Meet and Greet is limited to 30 people and will start at 6pm the evening of the 28th in the Dunnell House. This offer is for members only and tickets are available for $75.
