Saturday, September 23 is the Smithsonian magazine's annual Museum Day Live. Saturday a number of museums across the country will offer free admission just like the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.

To get your free admission ticket to the Steele County Historical Society, go to the Smithsonian Visitor web site and download 2 tickets.

Currently on display is the Over Here, Over There which deals with the Great War and also the Autos and Roads exhibit. You can also check out the Village of Yesterday as well as the specialty gift shop.

A reminder that the Championship Tour of Super Bowl rings designed by Josten's is still on display. You can check them out Friday, September 22 from 10-4PM and Sunday, September 24 from 11-3PM.

And a quick reminder that tickets are now on sale for the Harvest for History dinner which is set for Saturday, October 7 starting with a social hour at 5:30PM at the History Center. Tickets are on sale now at the Historical Society.
