Dine Out and Help the Steele County Food Shelf

A number of local restaurants have agreed to donate 10% of your dining bill to the Steele County Food Shelf during July on certain dates. You don't need to say anything, just show up and dine and the rest will be taken care of.

Here are the participating restaurants and dates: El Tequila Family Mexican Restaurant on Wednesday, July 10 from 5-9pm.

Don Juan Cantina and Grill on Wednesday, July 17 from 5-9pm

Kernel Restaurant on Tuesday, July 23 from 5-9pm

Plaza Morena Campestre Grill on Tuesday, July 30 from 5-9pm

The Steele County Food Shelf also announces that they will be taking part in the  "Open Your Heart Summer Challenge".  The challenge will provide matching funds up to $4,000 for all donations of in kind and money during the month of July.

A reminder that the Steele County Food Shelf gladly accepts fresh garden produce donations.
