Could Your Town Use Some Free Paint?
The Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation based in Owatonna is once again partnering with area Ace Hardware stores in their Paint the Town Grant program.
If you're in a town with a population of under 10,000 in the Foundation's 20 county region you may be in line for free paint and coating products. These materials may used for welcome signs, community mural or historic structure projects. A total of up to ten projects will be awarded paint products based on visual impact, public benefit, volunteer participation and community support.
Applications are May 15, 2019. Go to the SMIF web site to find out more. You may also call Jennifer at 507-214-7040 to learn more.
