Senior Place in Owatonna will be offering an Aging Mastery Program that was developed by the National Council on Aging. This is designed for those 55 and older or those who have parents or loved ones age 55 and older.

This five week educational program will offer classes on how to navigate a longer life, physical activity, sleep, healthy eating and hydration along with a class on financial management, medication management, advanced planning, healthy relationships, fall prevention and community engagement. As one can see, the above classes all have varying degrees of importance to seniors. Eating healthy, getting enough sleep and not mixing prescriptions along with fall management are all of concern for many seniors.

The classes will be offered Tuesday and Thursday starting October 24. Hours will be 10-11:30AM and will run through November 28. It's free for Senior Place members and just $10 for non members.

To sign up or find out more, call Senior Place at (507)-444-4280.
