5 Things to Know About Medford’s Straight River Days
The first thing to stress in regards to Medford's Straight River Days is that it actually begins on Wednesday, June 12. Something new this year on Wednesday night as the Opening Ceremony will feature a tribute to veterans. All vets are invited to gather at the Medford Veteran Memorial for the opening ceremony at 6pm that night.
The Miss Medford Pageant will be at 6:30pm on Thursday, June 13 in the Medford Auditorium. There are 4 age brackets and admission is just a dollar.
The parade begins at 7pm on Friday, June 14. This year there will be an adult pie-eating contest starting at 9pm.
The Fire 5K Run/Walk begins at 7:30am on Saturday morning. Bingo begins at 1pm on Saturday. Play all day for just $5.
The Rubber Duck Pluck begins at 3pm on Saturday with the Muni Street Dance getting under way at 9pm Saturday night.
