The annual Ellendale Days celebration will be this Thursday through Sunday. A number of newer items are on the list to check out this year.

Thursday, June 21 at around 8:45PM meet at the football field for Wishes in the Night. For a small fee you can release a "wishing lantern" after making a wish. It's going to be a time of gathering and reflection.

It's Bingo Night on Friday, June 22 at 6:30PM at the Community Center. At 7PM the Unsung Hero award will be given out to a member of the community who has gone over and beyond the call of duty as to volunteering in the community.  The honoree will be a part of the Grand Parade on Saturday along with the Parade Grant Marshall who will be announced Friday night as well.

Saturday the ECAG will host the 5K Walk/Run Alzheimer's event at 7AM. Sign-up and line-up will take place next to Floors4U. The parade begins at 4PM followed by the pork chop feed starting at 5PM at the Community Center.

Another newer event is the Pie in the Face contest. For a fee you will be allowed to pitch a pie into an area resident's face. This will take place south of the Post office.

The Tractor Pull wraps up the weekend events starting at noon on Sunday.
