Red Wing, MN (KROC AM News) – A Mankato woman was among those involved in serious motorcycle accidents on Minnesota roads over the weekend.

The State Patrol says the woman was riding her motorcycle on Highway 61 in Red Wing Sunday afternoon when a car pulled in front of her from a side road. The woman was identified as 61-year-old Susan Schwichtenberg, who was not wearing a helmet. Her injuries were described as life-threatening.

The car was driven by 70-year-old Katherine Fiksen of Dodge Center.

Two other accidents involving motorcycles happened Saturday in east-central Minnesota, leaving one driver dead and three other riders seriously injured.
