Alcohol Involved in Deadly Head-On Wreck in Brooklyn Park
Brooklyn Park, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol says all those involved in a deadly traffic wreck in the Twin Cities early Wednesday had been drinking.
The accident report says a car was going the wrong way when it collided with another vehicle, killing its driver.
The driver who caused the wreck suffered non-life threatening injuries, as did the three passengers in the other vehicle.
The driver who caused the wreck was identified as 28-year-old Yana Olson of Lester Prairie.
The other driver was 22-year-old Ahmud Carrington of Minneapolis, who died at a hospital.
The wreck happened on Highway 169 in Brooklyn Park around 1:00 AM.
