The University of Minnesota Extension Service will be hosting the third annual Gardening from the Ground Up Webinar series. This free virtual webinar series will cover a very wide variety of topics from plant health, insects, and soil nutrients that would be useful for gardeners and homeowners with a yard. The webinars will be held on February 20-25, 2022 from 1:00-2:30 om each afternoon. You can pre-register at: z.umn.edu/GardenUp which is required to receive the webinar link.

The topics that will be covered each day include: How environmental factors affect nutrient management, Building a resilient garden, How to not kill your tree, and finally App free insect Identification. Local extension Educators from a number of counties will be helping with the webinar series including Claire LaCanne at the Rice and Steele County Extension office.
