Truck Stop in Albert Lea Recognized Again

You know you're doing something right with your business model when you keep making lists, of the good kind. Back in 2017, Trails Travel Center right outside Albert Lea made the Travel Channel's list for one of the BEST truck stops, worldwide. That's quite the accomplishment. They're not done amazing people though, not even close.

Trails has this amazing restaurant inside, the Iron Skillet, which has made the top 7 epic buffets in Minnesota, according to Only in Your State. They are in the same company as other restaurants like Q. Cumbers in Edina and Olive's Mediterranean Restaurant in Mankato.

I have been to Trails, and you don't even realize you are in a truck stop once you pull up to the front of the building, other than all of the semis pulling in and out. It's very inviting, very clean, and the food, well, it's just wonderful. The prices in the Iron Skillet are very comparable to any other casual dining restaurant, and the food itself, you just can't believe how good it is.

If you are looking for another buffet to try, this one is worth the short drive. Located off I35, just South of I90 in Albert Lea, MN, and you can see why this stop has made so many lists for greatest ____ fill in the blank.
