Top 10 Floats in Owatonna Homecoming Parade
It was back and people were thrilled. The Owatonna homecoming parade was held on Friday after being a casualty of the pandemic in 2020. The route switched to Elm Street between the Steele County Fairgrounds and the high school due to construction downtown.

The Owatonna fishing team had the easiest to prepare float in the homecoming parade, and possibly the most creative at the same time.

The Huskies adaptive floor hockey squad was very enthusiastic right from the start of the parade route.
It was a big role reversal for OHS Homecoming parade Grand Marshall Rolf Olson. The retired, longtime teacher spends plenty of time nowadays driving the bus for the Huskies athletic teams.
Though not technically a 'float,' the Owatonna High School cheerleaders walked and cheered their way through the homecoming parade.
"Racket the Rockets" was a clever play on words by the OHS girls tennis team.
