Taste of Steele County is Thursday

The Owatonna branch of the AAUW will put on their annual Taste of Steele County on Thursday, September 19. It runs from 5-7pm  at the Owatonna Eagles.

Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door. Children under 12 are $10.

The American Association of University Women, Owatonna Branch currently has 46 members. Last year over $4,500 in scholarships for women were given out by the local branch. Several Riverland students and several women attending 4 year colleges received scholarships. Two girls who went to summer camp were also recipients. Also a graduate of Drug Court received $100 to apply towards the cost of taking 4 tests to obtain her GED.
