The Steele County Blades junior hockey team has seen its fair share of busses and the inside of hotel rooms through their first month of the season, having played all but one of their games on the road so far. The Blades will host games on Friday and Saturday, November 2-3 against the Minnesota Moose at the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna.

The Blades have the standard mix of veterans alongside players new to the game of junior hockey. Forward Jake Freise out of Evanston, IL is back for his third year and could even come back for a fourth season next winter. He has enjoyed his time in Owatonna and is excited to be an assistant captain. Freise tells us he enjoys the physical part of the game.

Tanner Booth hails from Clemmons, NC and has played some junior hockey in Canada in addition to being with the Blades last season.

Game time is 7 pm each night this weekend.
