Senator Jasinski Legislative Update Featured on AM Minnesota

Minnesota State Senator John Jasinski stops by KDHL today to give us an update on what's happening in St. Paul with a little less than a month left in the legislative session.  The program begins 9:30 a.m.  You can listen on the KDHL app or through the radio at 920 on the AM dial.

District 24 Senator Jasinski will update us on legislation he is carrying this session and we will attempt to get a general sense of where he feels the session is headed.  Will there be a special session?  The Republican led Senate and Democrat led House appear far apart on spending measures setting up some tense conference committee work.

The session is scheduled to end May 20.

Jasinski's district includes Faribault, Owatonna, Waseca, Morristown, Claremont communities and a number of surrounding townships.

The former Faribault Mayor is Vice Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee and is also a member of the Capital Investment, E-12 Finance and Policy, Local Government and State Government Finance and Policy and Elections Committees.
