The Owatonna Rotary Club has been raising funds for "Patriot Skies" or Owatonna's 4th of July fireworks show since 2000. How much is raised this year dictates the size of the show the following year. Just over $20,000 was raised last year for this years show which begins at 10pm at the Steele County Fairgrounds in Owatonna on July 4. This years show should last around 20 minutes.

Fundraising is now underway for the 2020 show. Fareway Meat and Grocery in Owatonna along with Arrow Ace Hardware in Owatonna are offering you to roundup. In other words you can round up your invoice or receipt to the nearest dollar with the difference going to the 2020 fireworks show. You may also drop off donations at the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce Office or stop by John Havelka's Edward Jones Office in Owatonna.

Another way you can help is by marking down August 21. That's the date for the Rotary Club's Sweet Corn Feed at the Owatonna Eagles. The early edition Rotary meets Wednesday mornings at 7am at Owatonna Public Utilities.
