Owatonna's baseball and softball teams split with top-rated Mankato West on Thursday. OHS girls lacrosse stayed unbeaten in the Big Nine, while the boys fell at Northfield.

OHS baseball beat Mankato West 5-2 in eight innings in the opener of a doubleheader. The Huskies built a 7-4 lead in the second game but the Scarlets rallied back for a 16-8 win. Owatonna (9-5) hosts No. 20 Eden Prairie on Monday at 5PM on Fareway Foods ice cream sandwich night. The first 100 students will receive the free treat.

Owatonna handed top-ranked Mankato West their first loss of the season in the nightcap of a doubleheader at Morehouse Park. After dropping a 7-4 decision in the opener, Owatonna came out on top 2-1 in the second game. Tiana Blazek tossed the complete game and Millie Wanous went 4-for-4. The Huskies (9-7) play a make-up game at Farmington on Friday at 4:30PM.

OHS girls lacrosse stayed unbeaten in Big Nine play with a 10-6 win over Northfield at the Owatonna High School field. The OHS boys lost 15-6 in Northfield.
