Owatonna Arts Center Happenings

Currently on display at the Owatonna Arts Centers is an exhibit titled "Postcards and Love Letters." In the Gallery you'll find the works of the Piecemakers Quilt Guild with quilts by Guest Artist Pat Cox in the Arnesen Atrium. Admission is a $3 donation. Saturday, April 8, at 1PM Cox will lead a walking tour of her quilts.

Music is on the docket Sunday, April 9, at 2PM. The OJHS Jazz Band and Chamber Orchestra will perform in a free concert.

The Owatonna Art Center will host the Thursday Musical Group on April 23 at 2PM. Soprano Ilah Raleigh, accompanied by pianist Mike Vasich, will perform. Also on the schedule is Pianist Gabriel Quenneville-Belair. The concert is open to the public.

May will mark the 65th annual Steele County Art Exhibition. The display opens May 7. the show is open to all artists who live in Steele County and or are a member of the Owatonna Arts Center and at least 18 years old.
