Larry Paul McClure Sr, 55, of Pendleton, Kentucky was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday (August 13th) in the McDowel County Circuit Court in West Virginia according to Bluefield Daily Telegraph. Amanda Michelle Naylor McClure, 31, daughter of Larry, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in July.

This was not a single violent act, it was a conscious decision. You tortured this man for three days before you killed him - McDowell County Circuit Court Judge Ed Kornish

McGuire's body was found in September 2019 in a grave located at a residence in southern West Virginia. Larry McClure stated that the killing was his daughters idea and he went along with it. Bluefield Daily Telegraph reported that Larry did not show remorse during his sentencing and the judge opted to not allow the possibility of parole.
