Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A two-vehicle crash that occurred just after 12 noon today resulted in a huge traffic jam on southbound Highway 52 in Rochester.

The State Patrol says a vehicle driven by an 84-year-old Rochester man rolled and came to rest on its top in the right lane of southbound Highway 52 near the 16th Street Southwest interchange following a collision with another southbound vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Mazeppa woman.

The names of the two motorists involved have not been released. The State Patrol has also not released any information about their injuries. Two Mayo Clinic ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the crash.

A traffic crash has caused traffic to back up on southbound Highway 52 in southwest Rochester.

The State Patrol, Rochester police and fire personnel, along with two ambulances responded to the scene near the 16th Street interchange shortly after 12 noon. One of the vehicles involved ended up on its roof on the highway. It is not yet known how many people were hurt or the extent of their injuries.

At last report, southbound traffic was limited to one lane in the vicinity of the crash.
