John Marshall’s Matthew Hurt Named Minnesota’s 2019 Mr Basketball
Minneapolis 9KROC AM News) - Rochester John Marshall basketball standout Matthew Hurt has been named Minnesota’s 2019 Mr. Basketball.

The Mr. Basketball committee is pleased to announce that Matthew Hurt from Rochester John Marshall is the winner of the 2019 Mr. Basketball award.
Michael Hurt represented his brother Matthew Hurt at tonight's Timberwolves game and accepted the Mr Basketball award on Matthew's behalf. Matthew is in Atlanta for this week's McDonald's All American game.
Hurt finished his high school career with 3,819 points, the highest total for a player from a large school. He has announced he will make his decision on where he will play college ball on April 19th. He has indicated he has the choices down to a final four: Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina.
