If Rain Stays Away, Owatonna Legion Baseball Will Play on Kat Kountry

Owatonna Post 77 American Legion baseball is scheduled to host Winona on Wednesday, June 28, at 6PM at Fuller Field with play-by-play coverage on Kat Kountry 105FM.

The forecast looks questionable for the game, which is a make-up of a game originally scheduled for June 22. Post 77 improved to 5-2 with a 7-6 victory at the Rochester Patriots on Tuesday. Alec Holcomb and Brady Schuster homered.

Wednesday's game against Winona will begin a stretch of three straight home games for Owatonna. Albert Lea comes to Dartt's Park on Thursday and Stewartville visits Friday. Each starts at 7PM.

Owatonna lost 7-1 to Winona during the high school season. Albert Lea's prep team closed the season strong with a 3-2 record in the Section 1AAA tournament. Stewartville, also a 1AAA team, went 2-3 versus Big Nine teams during the spring season.

The Owatonna Aces schedule shows the amateur team is off until July 5 when they host the Wanamingo Jacks. Owatonna's VFW baseball team plays at Austin on Wednesday, June 28, at 5PM and hosts a doubleheader with Cannon Falls on Friday at 4:30PM at Fuller Field.
