Dunkaroos are Coming Back!

This might be the biggest comeback since the Red Sox during the 2004 ALCS. Ever since the dunk-able cookies were discontinued in 2012, people begged for them to return.

General Mills confirmed the details on Monday. While the promo teasers and packaging don't currently feature Duncan, the lovable Kangaroo Mascot, it is uncertain whether or not he will return when the snack returns this summer.

For those wondering, "What's Dunkaroos?" I can explain! Dunkaroos are traditional vanilla cookies served in a tray, similar to Handi-Snacks (which was another amazing 90's snack), with a dippable side of vanilla frosting with rainbow sprinkles (my mouth is watering writing about this!).

Imagine, it's 1994 again and you're in your elementary's cafeteria, You pull out your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lunch pail that your Mom packed with a Bologna on white sandwich, a little Hugs Juice Barrel, and then you see what surprise was packed for you, a Dunkaroo! You're the talk of the lunch room and everyone wants to trade what they have to eat for that delectable sweet snack!

Now that my flashback is over, General Mills said the snack won't relaunch until this summer, so we will have to wait a little bit longer but it's oh so worth it!
