35-year-old Ryan Feine was ordered to prison for 38 years for his conviction on two counts of production and attempted production of child pornography. A news release from the U.S. Attorney for Minnesota says, based on Feine's guilty plea and other court documents, the Winona man created multiple video recordings of himself sexually abusing an infant and produced child pornography photos of a 5-year-old child.

“This is one of the most egregious cases of child sexual abuse my office has prosecuted,” said U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald. “We will never shy away from difficult cases such as this, we are committed to pursuing justice for innocent children.”

Prosecutors say Feine's criminal activity came to the attention of law enforcement in August 2018 based on an allegation of ongoing sexual abuse. In addition to the two cases involving sexual abuse by Feine, federal officials say investigators also found over 1000 child pornography photos and 150 videos on his electronic devices.
